Design and Engineering Services – Airside Design for Karbala International Airport (Irak)

This project is conceived within the construction of a new airport between the cities of Karbala, Najaf and Al Hillah as a gateway for pilgrims to Karbala and Najaf holy shrines, developing a new economic centre also fostering traffic and tourism.
Works included in this project package were focused on the airside construction design for phases 1 and 2 of the airside development program.
The different disciplines covered in the design ranged from geometry to AGL, markings, pavements, drainage, levelling, etc.

Leadin was in charge of the project management of the project and the technical production of the concept design of:

– Airfield Geometry Design
– Horizontal Markings
– Vertical Signage
– Pavements
