master plan
terminal conceptual design
project data:
Lima Airport Partners hired Leadin Aviation Consulting under a framework agreement in December 2019 to provide technical and consultancy advisory services for the airport project expansion. The expansion comprises a new 65 metre ATC tower, a new 3.480 metre second runway, 10 kilometres of taxiways, new emergency services facility, beacons and navigation aids, surveillance systems and other systems.
Under this framework agreement, Lima Airport Partners requested Leadin Aviation Consulting to develop a masterplan and conceptual design for the airport’s expansion that included the new terminal building, the new apron, the associated landside and ancillary facilities. The concept design was adapted to the new post-COVID situation and the new financial reality; merging the strengths of the previous concepts and optimizing CAPEX through design improvements. This concept design is now being used by 3 different bidders that are competing to develop and EPC contract in Q3/Q4 2021.
Leadin developed the Master Plan and Terminal Area Concept Design that was used as the reference design for the EPC contractor. The terminal is currently under construction
