Corfu International Airport
Corfu, Greece
2024 - 2025

description:
Leadin Aviation responded to a request from Fraport Greece to perform terminal simulations for Corfu International Airport (CFU). The objective was to evaluate the suitability of existing and proposed terminal solutions by assessing capacity compliance and operational performance. Leadin Aviation conducted detailed terminal simulations using the Airtop platform. After calibration, simulations were carried out for the 2033 planning horizon to verify the functional performance, capacity adequacy, and Level of Service (LoS) compliance of the proposed international terminal design. Two additional microsimulations were performed to assess domestic passenger flows and cruise-related processes.

The simulations confirmed the proposed terminal design in terms of functionality, LoS performance, and capacity across all terminal processors, supporting a key step in the master planning process and regulatory compliance. By translating complex terminal operations into clear performance insights, Leadin Aviation supported confident planning decisions and the delivery of resilient, regulation-ready terminal solutions.
client benefits:
-
Clear understanding of the existing terminal configuration and proposed future layouts;
-
Robust analytical support for critical decision-making processes.
