description:

Leadin Aviation supported Fraport Greece with the preparation of Traffic Forecasts and Design Day Flight Schedules (DDFS) for Corfu (CFU), Santorini (JTR), and Kos (KGS) Airports. The assignment provided a robust analytical foundation to assess long-term demand evolution and support infrastructure and operational planning for key Greek island airports.

The work included a detailed review of historical traffic trends and market conditions, followed by the development of annual traffic forecasts up to 2057. Forecasts were prepared using complementary bottom-up and top-down methodologies, combining econometric modelling with the assessment of non-organic growth drivers.

A second phase focused on Design Day analysis, including peak day and peak hour definition, future design day scenarios, and aircraft stand demand assessments. Ramp charts were developed for different planning horizons, supporting apron capacity evaluation and future operational adequacy.

Through rigorous forecasting and design day analysis, the study supported informed, capacity-driven decision-making for the sustainable development of seasonal, high-demand airport environments.
