description:
Leadin Aviation was commissioned by IATA to deliver Master Plan development services for four MATARAT-operated airports in Saudi Arabia: Bisha (BHH), Nejran (EAM), Jizan New Airport (GIZ), and Sharurah (SHW). The assignment supported the development of a sustainable and interconnected regional airport network aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the National Aviation Strategy (NAS).

The scope covered demand forecasting, capacity assessment, development roadmaps, commercial potential identification, sustainability considerations, and budgetary planning, including short-, medium-, and long-term CAPEX programs. Master Plans and Terminal Area Concept Designs were prepared for each airport, defining phased and demand-driven infrastructure development strategies.

The resulting Master Plans were adopted as reference documents within the National Aviation Strategy Vision 2030, providing a coordinated and robust planning framework to guide the long-term development of Saudi Arabia’s regional and domestic airport network.
client benefits:
-
Structured understanding of the existing infrastructure conditions;
-
Comprehensive master plans supporting strategic development and sustainable growth;
-
Optimization and alignment of airport development with National Aviation Strategy (NAS) objectives, supporting a coordinated network of interconnected airports.
