The client required the specialized support of an expert for the set-up of a Development Management Office (DMO) for the preparation and future management of the investment program for the short- and medium-term developments in the fastest growing and strategic hub airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The client contracted the team formed by Fraport and Leadin a perfect balance between a globally recognized airport operator and a specialized firm in airport planning and consulting services.

Among several other tasks such us PMP and organizational consulting, the scope includes an initial year where the team has to create a detailed development plan for the period 2024-2030 based on a solid assessment of the current infrastructure capacity (all airport components such as RWY system (3 RWYS), aprons, terminals (3 operating terminals), accesses, MEP, IT, BHS, etc.) and on such basis propose a realistic program to accommodate the

Leadin has led the capacity assessment and planning of the entire airport campus including 3 terminals and more than 12 commercial aprons, using different methodologies and tools, such as mathematical simulations models, to obtain solid conclusions for decision making.
