Leadin responded to IATA's request for the Airport Forecast for AIDB Hub bid issued by AIDB with the aim of update the forecasted demand, providing more accurate information for the Financial plan.

 

The project was composed of an analysis of the historical traffic of the airport DSS together with global, continental and local market analysis to determine the conditions that would support the development of traffic forecasting. Organic and non-organic factors were analyzed for a solid development of the traffic forecast, with route development, potential ceiling, catchment area, and other analyses. At the end, the sensitivity analysis was carried out to determine the optimistic and pessimistic scenarios of Passengers, ATMs and cargo forecasted demand.

 

For this project, it was crucial to have automated tools that allowed the team to test the hypotheses discussed with the client and the main stakeholders, providing a very complete and detailed work, even in a shorter deadline than the one agreed with the final client.
