Leadin Aviation responded to a request from AENA for Technical Advisory Services related to the development of the Development Plan for Congonhas Airport, under a contract subcontracted by Typsa Group.

The scope of work covered the full development cycle, from preparing the traffic forecast for the entire concession period to CAPEX and REPEX estimations. Capacity calculations, definition of infrastructure requirements, Master Plan development, and the functional design of the passenger terminal were included.

All infrastructure components were carefully analyzed to ensure compliance with client expectations and the requirements established in the concession agreement. This analysis was carried out while the airport—one of the most operationally complex in the world—remained fully operational.

The Master Plan and Terminal Area Concept Design were developed and subsequently adopted as the reference design for the EPC contractor. The terminal is currently under construction.

By translating operational complexity into a structured and optimized development framework, a solid foundation was established for the transformation of Congonhas Airport’s terminal infrastructure.
