Fraport AG appointed a Technical Advisor to support the preparation of the fifth airport privatization round in Brazil. The advisory role was delivered through a consortium formed by three companies, established to provide comprehensive technical support throughout the auction preparation process. The assignment focused on developing airport development plans for three airport clusters, covering up to 13 airports. Expansion programs were defined with particular emphasis on regulatory compliance and on achieving the airfield capacity required over the concession period.

Within this framework, Leadin Aviation Consulting contributed to the development of the technical inputs required for the preparation of the business model and the technical documentation supporting the concession process. Leadin also acted as consortium leader, serving as the main interface with Fraport and ensuring the coordinated delivery of all contractual obligations.

This advisory assignment established a solid technical foundation for the fifth Brazilian airport privatization round, enabling informed bidding decisions through consistent capacity planning, regulatory compliance, and optimized infrastructure development strategies across multiple airport clusters.
